Kodi - 'fully-loaded' boxes prompt five arrests as authorities crackdown on illegal activity


They've been at the centre of much controversy lately - now five people have been arrested as part of a crackdown on "fully-loaded" Kodi boxes.
Warrants were executed in Bolton, Bootle, Cheadle, Manchester and Rhyl and all of those arrested were questioned before being released on bail.
The day of action was instigated by copyright protection agency FACT on behalf the Premier League Sky, BT Sport and Virgin Media and involved Greater Manchester Police, City of London Police's Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU) and the Intellectual Property Office (IPO).
