50 Cent is seeking a big payday from his ex-lawyers who handled his lawsuit in the controversial Lastonia Leviston sextape case scandal from 2010. During his feud with Rick Ross, 50 courted the mother of Ross’ child to assist in his “take down” of the Miami rapper.

However, the G-Unit boss, Curtis Jackson III, recently filed a claim in U.S. bankruptcy court in Connecticut on Friday (Jan 27) for $32 million against his defense team in the case. Curtis alleges that “numerous misdeeds by law firm Reed Smith and attorney Peter Raymond were factors in his loss in Leviston’s claim against him.”
In 2015, Jackson was ordered to pay Leviston $7 million in damages for posting a sextape in which she was featured during a “diss video” that 50 released online.
“Reed Smith and Raymond did not follow established legal standards in representing Jackson in the Leviston Case by failing to provide effective representation and conduct proper pre-trial and trial preparation prior to the Leviston trial,” the complaint reads — according to TheWrap. “In addition, their lack of effective representation and inadequate pre-trial preparation and preparation for trial caused Jackson to retain new counsel on the eve of trial.”
